History and Background
The idea began when I was in college. Where myself and friends stumbled upon the concept of a “communal” style living. Not a new concept i know, but one that has stuck with me for many years. As I have gotten older and joined the working community and large corporate lifestyle, I have run into internal conflict and flaws, a disconnect you could say between the drive to make money, the amount of time I am at work, and the lack of time to pursue outside dreams and goals.
So I have set out in 2018 to start the journey to find a personal balance. An environment where me and my family’s focus moves from strict consumerism to sustainability, learning, and prosperity.
Vision
The core of “Hooligan Farm” is to set up a system where we are attached to land around us, our food, and our internal creativity. My vision for the farm is to provide a laboratory for my hobbies and my journey into creating a building a more sustainable life.
